Please join us for this yea’r “Fall Tune-up” shoot! Registration begins at 9:00am, with a shotgun start at 10:00am. Lunch will be served after the first round of 20 targets. After lunch, shooters go back out to shoot another 20 targets. Shoots typically end around 2-3pm.
The shoot costs $15 for members and $25 for non-members. These fees include lunch. For non-shooters, the cost of lunch is only $5. If you are a new member (purchasing a $30 single membership or $50 family membership), your first shoot is free. If you sign up for a family membership, one person in your family is free at that 3D shoot and the rest receive the member rate. This benefit is for new members only. Renewing members will pay the $15 member rate.
At our 3D shoots we have three positions archers can shoot from: Pins, Barebow and Youth. These are marked using three different colored flags.
Pink flags = Pins (typically 15-40 yards from the target)
Blue flags = Barebow (typically 10-30 yards from the target)
Yellow flags = Youth (typically 5-12 yards from the target)
“Pins” are any shooters using a sight that could be legally used for bowhunting in the state of Colorado. Please reference the "Legal Methods of Take" section in the Big Game Brochure. If your bow is equipped with a scope or electronics, such as Open Class bows, you are welcome to shoot with us but you will not qualify to post your score in the “Pins” division. “Barebow” is any bow without a sight. “Youth” are shooters 12 and under. Shooters wishing to post their score to be considered for a prize in their division must shoot from the flag determined by their style of bow. There will be a #1 flag which shooters will shoot from before lunch and a #2 flag which shooters will shoot from after lunch. We give out a 1st and 2nd place prize in six divisions: Men’s Pins, Women’s Pins, Men’s Barebow, Women’s Barebow, Youth Pins, Youth Barebow.
We look forward to shooting with you!
