Most bowhunters struggle to get better practicing in their backyard, by themselves. The Big Thompson Bowhunters club provides a fun, safe outdoor range where shooters can practice in realistic hunting scenarios to become effective, ethical bowhunters.
Archery is an incredibly challenging sport to master!
We all want to pick up a bow and immediately be accurate, but that’s simply not the case! It takes a lot of practice, and if you’re planning to bowhunt, practice in realistic hunting scenarios.

That’s why for over 40 years the members of the Big Thompson Bowhunters club have stewarded the Dennis Hansen Archery Range, to provide archers with a place where they can grow in their shooting abilities. Though you don’t have to be a member to shoot at this range, we welcome you to join our tribe and help us maintain this resource for future generations of archers!
